Felipe Alvarado received a Bachelor in Architecture from the University of Miami School of Architecture (1998) where he graduated as an All American Scholar and received the National Collegiate Architecture and Design Award. Mr. Alvarado is a registered architect in the state of Florida and Colombia. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional under the United States Green Building Council. He has over 20 years of experience in designing, managing, and supervising the construction of a broad range of projects which includes restaurants, commercial, retail, single family, multifamily, and urban developments in the US. Prior to founding  FAO Architecture, he worked  with renowned Urban Planning and Architectural offices in Miami.

FAO Architecture was born in the year 2015, after Felipe's return to the United States from living abroad in South America for six years. He lived and worked in Colombia and Argentina developing and managing Real Estate projects.
